Image Archives

Beta
The new image archiving system is currently in beta. You may experience issues or bugs while we continue to improve and refine the system.

The image archiving system allows you to create archive your all of your archives into a single file. You can either create an image archive from your gallery page, or from the Image Archives section on the image management page.

There are current 3 output formats that you can choose from.

  • .zip
  • .tar.gz
  • .7z

We recommend using either .tar.gz or .7z due to the smaller file size, allowing you to download your archive much quicker.

Once an image archive has been requested, your archive will be queued until a worker is available to process it. You can view the status and progress of image archives in real time on the image management page.

You can only create an image archive if you do not have one in progress, and you have not requested one in the last 7 days.

There is currently a hard limit of 75GB per image archive. If you have used more than 75GB of storage, you will not be able to create an image archive.

When there aren't any image archives in progress your image archive will be in the queued state while the image archiving service prepares. This typically takes 1-2 minutes, but could be longer in some circumstances.

Known Issues

  • Currently, you will not receive notifications when an image archive completes or fails. This is due to a limitation with one of our internal systems and once necessary updates have been applied to these systems, notifications will be sent as intended.
